About

Coaching That Counts provides standards-aligned math professional development and instructional coaching for K–8 educators and school leaders.

Founded by Cheryl Fricchione, a former classroom teacher and experienced math coach, Coaching That Counts partners with schools and districts to strengthen content knowledge, instructional decision-making, and student understanding through meaningful, classroom-connected learning.

Workshops and coaching experiences are designed to move beyond surface-level strategies, helping educators experience the math as learners, analyze student thinking, and build coherence across grade levels. Services include on-site professional learning, district coaching cycles, standards deep dives, and leadership support aligned to state expectations.
