Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC), a nonprofit Care Management Organization dedicated to serving youth with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and mental health needs, is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. Since its founding in 2005, OPC has supported more than 10,000 youth and families in Ocean County, remaining steadfast in its mission to keep children safe, at home, in school, and engaged in their community.

OPC operates under the Wraparound model of care, placing youth and family voice at the center of treatment planning. Services address social determinants of health through innovative programs that connect youth to community-based supports including transportation, recreation, education, and behavioral health resources. OPC has also been a leader in advancing equity and inclusion across Ocean County, recognizing the importance of accessible, culturally competent care.

To mark two decades of impact, OPC is hosting a $20-for-20 Campaign, asking community members to become a part of the mission and help OPC continue to change the tides in the lives of youth and families for decades to come.  

OPC has grown from a small team of five in 2005 to an agency employing over 130 staff with an average daily census of 1100 kids receiving services county-wide.  

In September, OPC will be bringing together staff, community partners, and families to celebrate the agency's achievements and milestones with an afternoon of food, music, and reflection. This celebration will highlight the positive youth outcomes, the strong relationships with over 100 local providers and community organizations, youth group leadership initiatives (such as Girls Empowerment Group, Your Authentic Self, GameChangers, and Connections), and the continued dedication to trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, and strengths-based treatment planning.

 This is a rallying call to action to continue to advocate for the well being of Ocean County's youth for generations to come. Sponsorships are still available to make sure all proceeds continue to support OPC's programming - care management, youth groups, enrichment activities, emergency needs for youth and their families, and innovative programs for our community.
